Waking Up in One Country, Dining in Another — My Year of Exploring 25 New Countries

Travel isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a way of life, a passion, and a constant source of inspiration. Last year, I set myself an ambitious goal: to visit 25 new countries within a single year. Many people thought I was dreaming too big, but I was determined—and I’m proud to say I achieved it! It was a whirlwind of airports, cultures, languages, and unforgettable moments.

Each morning, I’d wake up in one country, and by dinner, I’d be dining in another. It wasn’t just about ticking off places on a map; it was about experiencing life from a thousand different perspectives. From bustling city streets to serene natural landscapes, every destination offered something unique, challenging, and enriching.

This year, I’m traveling less frequently, but I’m focusing on quality over quantity. My trips are more comfortable, more meaningful, and more immersive. The Brazilian Carnival earlier this year set a pretty high standard for excitement and culture—vibrant parades, infectious music, and a spirit of celebration that touched my soul.

For me, travel goes beyond changing locations. It’s about diving deep into the lives of the people I meet—their stories, their traditions, their colors, and their rhythms. I collect more than souvenirs; I gather wisdom, fresh perspectives, and a deeper understanding of our beautiful, diverse world.

Right now, I’m in 🍀 (stay tuned to my stories for the highlights!). Each journey continues to teach me something new about humanity and myself.

What about you? Which country has left the most unforgettable memories in your heart, and why? I’d love to hear your stories.
